A salesperson opening a customer record in NetSuite is looking at raw history, not an answer. Twelve sales orders, four open cases, three invoices past due, a returned item from March, notes on the Communication tab written by two people who have since left. To brief themselves before a call they click through subtabs, open the transaction list, scan the case list and hope nothing important is buried. Most of them stop after thirty seconds and take the call under-prepared.
The same friction shows up after the call. The follow-up email that should go out in five minutes goes out the next day, or not at all, because writing it means re-reading everything again. Pipeline hygiene suffers for the same reason: nobody re-reads a stalled opportunity to work out what it needs.
The information is already in NetSuite. What is missing is a layer that reads it and puts a short, current answer on the screen the moment the record opens.
ECOSIRE builds a SuiteScript 2.1 customisation that adds an AI assistant panel to your Customer, Opportunity, Sales Order and Case records, and wires it to the AI provider you choose.
A User Event script (beforeLoad) injects an inline HTML field into the record form. On load, a client-side call hits a RESTlet that assembles the record context — the entity record fields you nominate, related transactions via saved searches you control, open cases, recent Message and Note records, and the current balance and credit limit — then sends that context to your AI endpoint and returns a short summary: what this account buys, what has changed recently, what is currently open or overdue, and what looks unusual.
The summary is cached on a custom record so repeated opens do not re-bill you for the same generation, and it is invalidated when a relevant transaction is created or edited.
Alongside the summary, the panel renders two to four suggested actions with the reasoning attached — for example, an opportunity that has not moved status in a defined number of days, a customer whose reorder interval has elapsed, an expiring quote, or an open case that should be resolved before an upsell call. The rules that feed candidate actions are saved searches and script parameters you own, so the logic is inspectable and tunable rather than hidden inside a prompt. The AI layer ranks and phrases them; it does not invent the underlying data.
A button on the panel generates a draft email in the record context — post-call follow-up, quote chase, renewal reminder, dunning note. The draft is written into a Message record attached to the entity, or opened in the standard email dialog, so the salesperson edits and sends through normal NetSuite email with normal permissions and normal audit trail. Nothing is sent automatically.
A Map/Reduce script refreshes summaries in bulk overnight for a segment you define — top accounts, an assigned sales rep's book, all open opportunities above a value threshold — so the panel is warm before the working day starts. A Scheduled script handles retries and prunes stale cache records.
Every generation is logged to a custom record with the record type, internal ID, user, prompt version, token counts if your provider returns them, and latency. Script parameters cap per-user and per-day generations. Role and permission checks run server-side in the RESTlet, so a user cannot pull context they could not have opened themselves — the assistant respects your existing role restrictions rather than bypassing them.
Sales and account-management teams already running NetSuite CRM with real transaction history behind their accounts. It is most useful where reps carry more accounts than they can hold in their heads, where accounts have long purchase histories, and where the follow-up email is the actual bottleneck. In OneWorld, the context assembly and the summary respect subsidiary restriction so a rep only ever sees their own subsidiary's data.
It is not a replacement for a CRM process. If your opportunities have no stages and your records have no notes, the assistant will summarise an empty record honestly.
You supply the AI endpoint and key — a commercial API or a private model endpoint. ECOSIRE builds the integration, the prompt templates, the context assembly and the guardrails. The key is stored using NetSuite's secrets handling and referenced by the script rather than embedded in code, and the endpoint is registered in your account's outbound configuration. No customer data flows to ECOSIRE.
1. Scoping call. We walk your record forms, roles, saved searches and the sales motion behind them. We agree which record types get the panel, what belongs in the summary, which rules feed next-best-action, and what an acceptable draft email looks like for your business.
2. Fixed quote. You get a written scope, a fixed price, a delivery window and a list of what is explicitly out of scope. Nothing starts until you approve it.
3. Build. Development happens against a NetSuite sandbox or a development account. You receive progress updates; the source is version-controlled as an SDF project.
4. Install in test. We deploy to your sandbox as an unmanaged bundle or SDF deployment and walk your team through it on your own data. You test with real accounts and real reps. Prompt wording, summary length and action rules are tuned during this stage — this is the part that decides whether people use it.
5. Install in production. After your written sign-off, we deploy to production, configure roles and script deployments, and stay on the call for the first live day.
6. Support. A defect-fix support window is included from go-live. Extensions, new record types and new action rules are quoted separately.
Unobfuscated SuiteScript source, the SDF project, the custom records, the saved searches and the deployment configuration. It is your customisation in your account. If you stop working with ECOSIRE, nothing switches off and nothing phones home.
A short call to confirm the workflow, your platform version and where the integration boundaries sit.
You receive a written scope and a fixed price. Nothing is built until you approve it.
We develop against a copy of your configuration and test it there. Typically two to four weeks.
We install on your instance, hand over the source, and support it for twelve months.
Carries more accounts than they can keep current on and walks into calls having skimmed a transaction list. A two-paragraph summary and a drafted follow-up at the top of the record removes the pre-call scramble and the post-call backlog.
Cannot tell which opportunities are genuinely stalled without opening each one and reading the history. Next-best-action prompts driven by saved searches they control surface the stalled and expiring records consistently across the whole team.
Is accountable for what data leaves the account and what it costs, and distrusts black-box AI features. Server-side permission re-checks, an audit log of every generation and hard caps in script parameters make the behaviour reviewable and bounded.
