The QuickBooks Online connector uses the official OAuth 2.0 REST API; QuickBooks Desktop uses a Web Connector (QBWC) / qbXML bridge.

What syncs: two-way order and invoice push with line-item, discount and shipping mapping; customer records matched on email to avoid duplicates; product/item sync; near-real-time inventory level updates so stock matches across both systems; and configurable tax-code and payment-method mapping to your QuickBooks accounts.
