Request a Quote & Hide Prices for WooCommerce turns a standard storefront into a B2B-style negotiation channel for stores that price on request. Shoppers build an Add-to-Quote basket instead of (or alongside) the cart, the merchant negotiates inside wp-admin, and an approved quote converts into a real WooCommerce order with payment. This is not an instant WordPress.org download — ECOSIRE builds, installs and supports the plugin on your live WordPress site to match your theme, gateways and tax rules.

Under the hood it uses real WooCommerce primitives: quotes are stored as a custom post type (with full HPOS / custom order tables compatibility on convert-to-order), the Add-to-Quote button is injected via woocommerce_after_add_to_cart_button and template overrides, and conditional hide-price / hide-add-to-cart rules run through the woocommerce_get_price_html and woocommerce_is_purchasable filters. Eligibility is evaluated with WordPress role/capability checks (current_user_can) so you can offer quoting to guests, logged-in customers, wholesale roles or specific categories.

Quote submissions trigger transactional email via WooCommerce's mailer, and a branded PDF (your logo, terms, line items, expiry) is generated with Dompdf and attached. Admins review, edit line prices, apply discounts, set an expiry handled by WP-Cron, and click Convert to Order — which creates the native order, fires woocommerce_new_order, and hands off to checkout/payment. Optional WooCommerce REST API endpoints and webhooks let your CRM or ERP read quotes. WPML / Polylang and multisite are supported on request.

How long does delivery take and what does the build process look like?

Converted quotes hand off to whatever gateways you already have active — Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer or others — using your live tax and shipping configuration.

Can I hide prices only for guests, or for specific products and roles?

Yes. Eligibility and price hiding are rule-based and evaluated with WordPress role/capability checks. You can hide prices and the Add-to-Cart button for guests only, switch the whole catalogue to quote-only, or target specific products, categories, tags or customer roles (for example show retail prices publicly but require a quote for a wholesale role). Rules are configured per your requirements during the build.

Does it slow down my store or conflict with my theme and caching?

No. The price-hiding logic runs on standard WooCommerce filters and the quote basket uses lightweight, theme-matched markup, so it adds negligible overhead. ECOSIRE tests against your theme and page-cache setup during the build, and price-dependent output is handled so cached catalogue pages still respect each visitor's role and login state.
