Profit & COGS Analytics for WooCommerce closes that gap by recording the cost of goods, payment gateway fees, shipping cost and ad spend behind every order, then surfacing true net profit, margin and markup across products, categories, customers and date ranges.
This is a build-to-order plugin, not an instant download. ECOSIRE develops it against your WooCommerce configuration, installs it on your WordPress site, and supports it after launch. Cost data is stored on a custom order-line meta and a dedicated cost table (HPOS / custom-order-tables compatible), so historical profit stays accurate even when a product's cost changes later. Per-product and per-variation costs are entered in wp-admin or bulk-imported via CSV, and a WooCommerce admin sub-menu renders the profit dashboards with server-side WP-Cron rollups so large catalogs stay fast.
Under the hood it hooks into woocommerce_checkout_order_processed and woocommerce_order_status_changed to snapshot cost at the moment of sale, reads real gateway fees where the gateway exposes them (Stripe, PayPal) or applies a configurable fee rule, and computes inventory valuation using FIFO or weighted-average. Reports export to CSV and can feed the WooCommerce REST API for your BI tool.

How long does it take to build and install?
This is a build-to-order plugin, so it is not an instant download. A typical build, install on your WordPress site and your initial cost-data import takes about one working week depending on catalog size, your gateway mix and any multi-currency or WPML requirements. We confirm a firm timeline after a short scoping call and keep you updated as we go.
What support and updates do I get after launch?
Every build includes a post-launch support and bug-fix window where we resolve any defects and help your team use the dashboards. After that you can keep an optional maintenance plan for WooCommerce/WordPress version-compatibility updates, new reports and changes as your business evolves. You also receive the full source code, so you are never locked in.
Will my historical profit reports stay accurate when a product's cost changes?
Yes. Cost is snapshotted onto the order line at the moment of sale via WooCommerce order hooks, so changing a product's current cost later never rewrites past orders. Historical margin reflects what the item actually cost when it sold, while new orders use the updated cost.
Does it work with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) and my other plugins?
Yes. We build against HPOS / custom order tables and store cost data on a dedicated table plus order meta rather than slow postmeta scans. Because we build for your specific site, we test against your active theme, gateways and key plugins before go-live to avoid conflicts.
Where do payment gateway fees come from — are they exact?
Where your gateway exposes the real fee (for example Stripe and PayPal often return the processing fee on the transaction), we capture the actual amount. Where it is not exposed, we apply a configurable per-gateway rule (percentage plus fixed fee) that you can adjust. Either way, fees are deducted from net profit rather than ignored.
Can I get the data into Power BI or a spreadsheet?
Yes. Every report exports to CSV, and we can wire optional WooCommerce REST API endpoints so your BI tool (Power BI, Looker Studio or similar) pulls profit, margin and inventory-valuation data on a schedule.
