Afterpay / Clearpay for WooCommerce is a custom-built payment gateway that lets your store offer Pay-in-4 interest-free installments through Afterpay in the US, Australia, and New Zealand and through Clearpay in the UK and EU — the same Afterpay/Clearpay brand, routed to the correct merchant account by the shopper's currency and region.
This is not an instant marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds, installs, and configures the plugin directly on your WordPress site, wired to your Afterpay/Clearpay merchant credentials, your WooCommerce currency settings, and your theme's cart and product templates. You get a finished, tested gateway — not a generic ZIP you have to wrestle into place.
Under the hood it registers a proper WC_Payment_Gateway subclass so it appears natively at WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, with sandbox and live API keys, min/max order thresholds, and per-region enablement. Installment messaging widgets render on the product page (PDP) via woocommerce_single_product_summary and in the cart/checkout via WooCommerce hooks and blocks, calculating the 4-payment breakdown from the live cart total. An optional express checkout button launches the Afterpay/Clearpay flow straight from cart or PDP.
Order lifecycle is handled server-side: capture on approval, refund sync through WooCommerce's native refund UI, and inbound webhooks that reconcile payment status against the order. It is HPOS-compatible (WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage / custom order tables), works with WPML and multisite, and respects your existing checkout — classic shortcode or the Checkout block. Every build is delivered tested against your live theme, with a clear lead time and ongoing support from the team that wrote the code.

关于Afterpay / Clearpay的常见问题
How long does it take to get the plugin built and live on my store?
Because this is build-to-order, ECOSIRE configures and installs the gateway on your actual site rather than handing you a generic ZIP. Typical delivery is about 5 to 10 business days from the point we have your Afterpay/Clearpay sandbox credentials and staging access. We build against your real theme and currency settings, run sandbox test transactions, then schedule the live cutover with you. If you have an unusual checkout (heavily customized Checkout block, non-standard multisite, or a bespoke theme), we confirm the timeline up front before any work begins.
Do I need my own Afterpay and Clearpay merchant accounts?
Yes. Afterpay and Clearpay are regulated BNPL providers, so the merchant agreement and underwriting must be in your business's name — ECOSIRE cannot resell or proxy their service. You sign up with Afterpay (for US/AU/NZ) and/or Clearpay (for UK/EU) and provide us the API credentials. We then wire the gateway to those accounts. If you only operate in one region, we enable just that provider.
What happens with ongoing support and updates after launch?
Every build includes a post-launch support window for fixing any issue in the delivered gateway. Beyond that, an ongoing support plan covers compatibility updates when WooCommerce, WordPress, or the Afterpay/Clearpay API changes — for example HPOS-related changes or new webhook event types. Because we wrote the code, fixes and updates come from the original authors rather than a generic helpdesk. We agree the support scope and term with you before delivery.
Is the gateway compatible with HPOS, WPML, and the WooCommerce Checkout block?
Yes. The plugin declares HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage / custom order tables) compatibility, so it runs whether your store uses legacy post-based orders or the new order tables. Messaging strings are translatable for WPML and multisite, and the gateway and installment messaging work with both the classic shortcode checkout and the newer Checkout block. We verify the exact combination your store runs during the build.
Will Afterpay messaging show on product pages, or only at checkout?
Both. We inject Pay-in-4 messaging on the product page via the woocommerce_single_product_summary hook so shoppers see the installment breakdown before they add to cart, plus messaging in the cart and at checkout. The per-payment amount is calculated from the live total, and we can apply your configured min/max thresholds so the messaging only appears when the order qualifies for Afterpay or Clearpay.
