PayTabs Payment Gateway for Shopify connects your store to PayTabs, the MENA-focused processor, so you can accept regional cards, wallets, and 160+ currencies without forcing customers through a foreign acquirer. This is a build-to-order integration — ECOSIRE builds it against your exact theme, currency configuration, and PayTabs merchant account, then installs and tests it in your store. It is not an instant Shopify App Store download.

Because Shopify only exposes its certified Payments Platform to approved partners, most regional processors integrate through a hosted or iframe checkout flow. We implement PayTabs using its hosted payment page or embedded iframe, triggered from your Shopify checkout, with server-side webhook verification to confirm captures, authorizations, and failures before an order is marked paid. Orders, payment references, and PayTabs transaction IDs are written back to the Shopify order via the Admin GraphQL API and stored in order metafields for reconciliation.

The build covers refunds (full and partial) initiated from a connected admin flow, recurring/tokenized payments where your PayTabs profile supports them, and PayTabs' built-in fraud and 3-D Secure screening. We handle OAuth app installation, currency mapping between Shopify presentment currencies and PayTabs settlement, and idempotent webhook handling so retries never double-charge or double-fulfill.

You receive a working, documented integration installed in your live or staging store, a short handover call, and a defined support window. Pricing is a one-time build fee of $249; PayTabs' own transaction fees are billed by PayTabs directly. How long does delivery take, and is this an instant App Store install?

This is build-to-order, not an instant download. After you purchase and share your PayTabs merchant credentials and store access, a typical build, sandbox test, and installation takes about 7 to 12 business days depending on your theme complexity and whether recurring payments are in scope. We confirm a firm timeline during scoping before any work starts.

What do I need to provide before you start?

You need an active PayTabs merchant account with API credentials (profile ID and server key), Shopify staff/collaborator access to your store, and confirmation of which currencies and payment methods you want enabled. If you do not yet have a PayTabs account, we can guide you through the application, but the account itself is approved by PayTabs, not us.

How does this work if Shopify does not officially support PayTabs as a native gateway?

Shopify reserves its native Payments Platform for certified partners, so PayTabs is integrated through its hosted payment page or embedded iframe, triggered from your checkout, with server-side webhook verification confirming each payment before the order is marked paid. This is the standard, supported approach for regional processors that are not natively listed by Shopify.

Are refunds and recurring payments included?

Full and partial refunds are included and are driven from a connected admin flow that syncs the refund status back to the Shopify order. Recurring or tokenized payments are supported where your PayTabs profile enables them; if recurring billing is a requirement, tell us during scoping so we size and test it correctly.

What ongoing support and updates do I get after launch?

Every build includes a defined post-launch support window (typically 30 days) covering bug fixes and issues with the integration we delivered. After that, we offer optional maintenance retainers to handle PayTabs or Shopify API changes, new currencies or payment methods, and version updates. PayTabs' own transaction fees are billed by PayTabs directly and are separate from our build and support fees.
