Pakistani shoppers overwhelmingly reach for JazzCash before they reach for a card — yet Shopify offers no native JazzCash support, so merchants either lose those customers at checkout or push them to a clunky manual bank-transfer flow. ECOSIRE's JazzCash Payment Gateway is a build-to-order Shopify app: we develop, install and support a JazzCash integration tailored to your store, then hand you a working checkout. This is not an instant App Store download — it is a custom engagement with an honest delivery lead time.
The integration connects your store to the JazzCash merchant API so customers can pay with their JazzCash mobile wallet or a debit/credit card without leaving your purchase flow. We wire it to your Shopify order lifecycle using the Admin GraphQL API and webhooks, so a successful payment automatically marks the order as paid and a failed or abandoned payment leaves the order in its correct pending state. Settlement and transaction context are stored against each order via order metafields, giving your team a clean audit trail inside Shopify Admin.
The app is designed to run alongside Shopify Payments and your other gateways — JazzCash becomes one more option at checkout, not a replacement. We handle PKR currency configuration, transaction signature/hash verification, and refund handling so that refunds issued from Shopify reconcile back through JazzCash. Because JazzCash onboarding requires your own merchant credentials and verification status, we work directly with your team to configure, test in JazzCash's sandbox, and go live. How long does delivery take, and is this an instant App Store install?
This is a build-to-order app, not an instant Shopify App Store download. After purchase ECOSIRE builds and installs the integration on your store. Typical delivery is about 1–2 weeks depending on how quickly your JazzCash merchant account and credentials are ready and verified. We confirm a firm timeline during onboarding before any work starts.
Do I need my own JazzCash merchant account?
Yes. JazzCash requires a verified business merchant account in your own name with API credentials issued to you. We integrate against your account — we never resell or proxy payments. If you do not yet have one, we guide you through what to request from JazzCash so onboarding isn't blocked.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
Every build includes a post-launch support window where ECOSIRE fixes issues, helps with reconciliation questions, and adapts the integration to JazzCash API changes. Because Shopify and JazzCash both evolve their APIs, we offer continued maintenance after that window so the gateway keeps working — this is a supported product, not a one-and-done script handoff.
Will this work alongside Shopify Payments and my other gateways?
Yes. JazzCash is added as an additional payment option at checkout. Customers who prefer cards via Shopify Payments or another gateway keep that choice; JazzCash users get a native flow. Nothing about your existing payment setup is removed.
How are refunds and failed payments handled?
Refunds issued from Shopify Admin are reconciled back through the JazzCash gateway. Payment confirmation is webhook-driven, so a successful payment automatically marks the order paid, while failed or abandoned payments leave the order in its correct pending state rather than falsely showing as paid.
Are there extra per-transaction fees from ECOSIRE?
No. This is a one-time build fee. You pay JazzCash's own transaction rates directly to JazzCash under your merchant agreement — ECOSIRE does not add a per-transaction surcharge on top of your sales.
