The Bulk Product & Metafield Editor is a Shopify embedded admin app that ECOSIRE builds to order for your store, then installs and supports — it is not an instant App Store download. After purchase, our team provisions a private/custom Shopify app on your store via OAuth, scoped to read_products, write_products and the relevant *_inventory scopes, and configures it against your real catalog.

It is built for large-catalog merchants who run frequent price and promo changes and are tired of CSV round-trips and the 250-row ceilings of Shopify's native bulk editor. Edits run through the Admin GraphQL API using productUpdate, productVariantsBulkUpdate, inventorySetQuantities and metafieldsSet, batched and rate-limit-aware so a 10,000-SKU change completes reliably instead of timing out.

Every job is preview-first: you filter by tag, vendor, product type or collection, see the exact before/after diff, then apply. Scheduled edits let you stage a sale — prices change at the start window and revert when it ends — driven by a server-side scheduler, not a browser tab you have to leave open. A full snapshot of prior values is written before each job so one-click undo restores the previous state.

Is this an instant App Store download?

No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds the app, provisions it on your store as a private/custom Shopify app, installs it via OAuth, and configures it against your real catalog and metafield definitions. You are buying a finished tool tailored to your store, not a self-serve App Store install.

How long until it's live on my store? (delivery / lead time)

Typical delivery is about 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff, depending on catalog size, the number of custom metafields, and any scheduling or location rules specific to your store. We confirm a firm timeline at kickoff after reviewing your catalog. The price shown is a one-time build fee.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Go-live includes a defined support window with agreed response SLAs for bug fixes and questions. Because ECOSIRE builds and hosts the app, we keep it working as Shopify deprecates and versions the Admin GraphQL API. Feature additions or expanded support after the initial window are scoped as a separate, optional engagement.

Will it work with my custom metafields and multiple locations?

Yes. The app is configured against your own metafield definitions (including JSON, reference and list types) and is multi-location inventory aware, so you can set or adjust on-hand quantities per location rather than a single global number. This per-store mapping is exactly why it is built to order rather than shipped generic.

What happens if a bulk edit goes wrong?

Every job is preview-first: you see an exact before/after diff before committing. Before each change is applied, the app snapshots the prior values, so one-click undo restores the previous state. A job history and audit log records who ran what and when.

What access does ECOSIRE need to build and install it?

We install the app via OAuth with least-privilege scopes — typically read/write products and the inventory scopes required for your use case. We do not request more than the app needs. Hosting can be on ECOSIRE-managed infrastructure or your own, depending on your preference and security requirements.
