The Jumia Marketplace Connector is a build-to-order Odoo module that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports for your specific Jumia vendor account and Odoo instance. This is not an instant apps.odoo.com download — after purchase, our Odoo engineers deliver a fully working, tested integration within a typical one working week lead time, tuned to your product catalog, warehouse setup and country-level Jumia storefront (Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Morocco, Uganda and other Jumia markets).
The connector turns Odoo into the single control tower for your Jumia business. It publishes and maintains your product listings on Jumia Vendor from Odoo product templates and variants, pulls orders into Odoo sale.order records in near real time, keeps inventory and pricing consistent across every channel, generates Jumia logistics labels and tracking, and gives your finance team the tools to reconcile Cash-on-Delivery settlements — the payment reality most African sellers actually operate in.
Under the hood it is engineered the Odoo way. A dedicated set of models (models.Model) stores Jumia account credentials, listing state, shipment references and settlement lines; computed fields with @api.depends keep sync status and margin figures live; scheduled automated actions (ir.cron) poll Jumia and push updates on an interval you choose; and every integration touch point is exposed through Odoo's own XML-RPC/JSON-RPC and REST-style controllers so the rest of your business logic can hook in. Access is locked down with ir.model.access.csv rules and record rules so warehouse, sales and finance users each see only what they should. How does Cash-on-Delivery (COD) reconciliation actually work?
COD is treated as a first-class workflow. The connector imports Jumia settlement and remittance data into dedicated Odoo models and matches it against the corresponding sale orders, invoices and payments. Your finance team gets a reconciliation view and a QWeb reconciliation statement report, so you can see what Jumia collected, what was remitted, and what is still outstanding — without manual spreadsheet matching.
Will it oversell or push wrong prices if I sell on multiple channels?
No. Inventory is synced from Odoo's authoritative stock levels (stock.quant) to Jumia on a schedule you control via ir.cron, and price sync reads from your Odoo pricelists with bounds checks to reject out-of-range prices. Odoo stays the single source of truth, so quantities and prices across Jumia and your other channels stay consistent and overselling is prevented.
Can it handle multiple Jumia country storefronts from one Odoo database?
Yes. The connector supports per-account, per-country configuration so you can run several Jumia markets (for example Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt) from a single Odoo instance, each with its own credentials, mapping and sync settings, while sharing one catalog and inventory backbone.
