关于此产品
Payroll is where Odoo Community runs out of road fastest. The full salary-rule engine — salary structures, rule categories, computed lines, and batch payslip generation — ships only with Enterprise, so Community teams end up exporting hours to spreadsheets, hand-calculating gross-to-net, and re-keying the result back as journal entries. The pain is not just the manual time; it is the audit gap. Nobody can point at a single record and explain how a net figure was derived, and every policy change means editing formulas in a workbook nobody version-controls.
We build a payroll module that lives natively inside your Odoo Community database. At its core is an hr.payslip model with computed hr.payslip.line records driven by a configurable set of salary rules — each rule carries a Python amount_python_compute expression (or a fixed/percentage code path) evaluated against contract, employee, worked-days, and inputs, exactly the mental model an Enterprise-experienced HR lead already has. Rules resolve in sequence, feed rule categories (Basic, Allowance, Deduction, Gross, Net) through @api.depends compute chains, and the totals lock into a slip that is an immutable derivation rather than a spreadsheet snapshot. Contracts (hr.contract) hold wage, schedule, and the assigned salary structure; a payslip batch (hr.payslip.run) generates a whole period's slips in one action.
Around that engine we build what makes payroll usable day to day: QWeb payslip PDFs on your letterhead, an accounting bridge that posts each confirmed slip to a configurable account.move mapping (so gross, deductions, and employer contributions hit the right ledgers), and the security layer — ir.model.access.csv plus record rules so a line manager sees only their team's slips while payroll admins see the batch. Employee self-service payslip access, automated actions for period reminders, and an XML-RPC/JSON-RPC surface for pushing bank-file exports or pulling figures into your BI all sit on top. Everything is delivered as a proper Odoo module with a versioned __manifest__.py, so it upgrades cleanly rather than living as untracked studio tweaks.
Because this is build-to-order, we start from your actual policy — your salary components, your statutory deductions, your pay calendar — not a generic template. After a short scoping call we confirm the salary-rule catalogue, the report layout, and any localization (income-tax slabs, social-security, end-of-service) in writing, build against a staging copy of your database, and run UAT with your team before go-live. Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope. Pricing starts from $999 (indicative, single-company base scope); localization depth, statutory reporting, multi-company payroll, and historical payslip data migration increase the quoted scope. You receive a fixed quote after the scoping call — never a surprise.

这是给谁的
Community-Edition HR & payroll lead
Runs Odoo Community and refuses to pay for Enterprise just for payroll. Needs a native salary-rule engine so gross-to-net is computed, auditable, and repeatable inside Odoo instead of in spreadsheets.
Finance controller / accountant
Wants every confirmed payslip to post automatically to the correct `account.move` accounts, with a clear breakdown of gross, statutory deductions, and employer contributions for month-end reconciliation.
SME operations manager
Oversees a growing headcount and needs batch payslip runs, self-service access for staff, and role-based visibility so managers see only their own team's compensation.
Odoo partner / internal Odoo admin
Maintains the instance and wants payroll delivered as a clean, versioned module with a git repo and documentation, rather than untracked studio customizations that break on upgrade.
HR Payroll for Odoo Community 如何比较
| 标准 | 伊科西尔 | 定制建造 | 竞争对手 | Odoo 原生 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Payroll availability on Community | Full salary-rule engine built natively for Community | Possible but you design the engine from scratch | Varies; often thin or Enterprise-dependent | Not available — payroll ships only with Enterprise |
| Fit to your salary rules & policy | Built to your exact components and statutory rules | Fully bespoke if you have the in-house expertise | Generic template you bend to fit | No payroll engine to fit |
| Localization (tax, social security) | Scoped and implemented as compute rules for your country | Whatever you build and maintain yourself | Limited to the regions the author chose | None on Community |
| Accounting integration | Configurable `account.move` posting on slip confirm | You wire the ledger mapping yourself | Sometimes present, mapping often rigid | Manual journal entries by hand |
| Security & role visibility | `ir.model.access.csv` + record rules scoped to your org | Depends on your implementation discipline | Basic access rules, rarely record-level | Not applicable |
| Upgrade & maintainability | Versioned module, git repo, clean 17/18/19 upgrades | Only as maintainable as your team keeps it | Depends on the author's release cadence | No module to maintain |
| Support & accountability | Defined post-go-live window with a named team | You own all fixes internally | Forum or ticket support, variable quality | Community forums only |
| Time to working payroll | one working week from confirmed scope, UAT before go-live | Months of build, test, and iteration | Fast install but heavy configuration to fit | Never reaches working payroll on Community |
关于HR Payroll for Odoo Community的常见问题
Is this an app I download and install today?
No. This is a build-to-order module. We scope it to your salary components and policies, build it against a staging copy of your database, run UAT, and then install it. It is not an existing apps.odoo.com download, and there is no instant-download step.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope. The clock starts once we have agreed, in writing, on the salary-rule catalogue, report layout, and any localization. Larger localization or data-migration work can extend the timeline, which we confirm during scoping.
How does pricing and scoping work?
Pricing starts from $999 as an indicative single-company base figure. The final number depends on localization depth, statutory reporting, multi-company payroll, and any historical payslip migration. After a short scoping call we send a fixed written quote — you never commit to an open-ended price.
What about support and future updates?
Every build includes a post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration questions. Because the module ships with a versioned `__manifest__.py` and a git repo, it upgrades cleanly across Odoo versions. Ongoing support and version migrations beyond the initial window are available as a separate arrangement.
Does it work with Odoo Community, and which versions?
Yes — it is built specifically to bring a full salary-rule payroll engine to Odoo Community, which otherwise lacks it. We support Odoo 17.0, 18.0, and 19.0, and target the exact version your instance runs.
Can it handle our country's statutory deductions and tax rules?
Yes. Localization is a core part of scoping. We implement your income-tax slabs, social-security, provident-fund, or end-of-service rules as salary rules with the appropriate compute logic, and configure the statutory reports you need. The depth of localization is one of the factors in the final quote.
Will confirmed payslips post to our accounting automatically?
Yes. We build an accounting bridge that maps each salary rule to the correct ledger accounts and posts a journal entry (`account.move`) when a slip is confirmed, so gross pay, deductions, and employer contributions reconcile without re-keying.

- Configurable salary-rule engine: fixed, percentage, and Python `amount_python_compute` rules evaluated against contract, employee, worked-days, and payslip inputs
- Rule categories (Basic, Allowance, Deduction, Gross, Net) with `@api.depends` compute chains that keep totals consistent as rules change
- `hr.payslip` model with computed `hr.payslip.line` records and a state machine (draft → confirmed → paid) that locks a slip as an immutable derivation
- Salary structures assigned per `hr.contract`, with structure inheritance so shared components are defined once
