ECOSIRE builds a Clinical Nursing & Ward Management layer directly on your existing clinical HIS/EMR and pharmacy dispensing data, so it is one system, not a bolt-on. The core is a nursing station dashboard — an OWL/QWeb view filtered by ward_id to only the patients admitted to that unit — from which nurses drive the shift. The eMAR is modelled as a nursing.medication.administration record generated from the active prescription/dispensing lines, with a computed state (due, given, missed, held) driven by @api.depends on the scheduled time and the recorded administration; an ir.cron automated action re-evaluates the schedule and flips overdue doses to missed for escalation. Vitals are captured as timestamped nursing.vitals records with a compute layer that flags out-of-range readings, rendered as a per-patient trend view; intake/output charting rolls up to a running fluid-balance total on the same admission.

Around that spine we build nursing care plans and task checklists per admission, structured SBAR-style shift handover notes (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation as discrete fields, not a free-text blob), a ward/bed occupancy board showing occupied, vacant, and cleaning states as a live kanban, patient acuity/priority flags to inform nurse staffing, and a nursing notes timeline that merges into the patient's EMR chatter (mail.thread) so clinicians see one continuous record. Overdue-medication and abnormal-vitals events raise escalation alerts via Odoo's automated actions and activity/notification system. Every model ships with ir.model.access.csv plus record rules so a nurse only ever sees their assigned ward, and the data is reachable through the standard XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API for downstream reporting or device integration. It targets Odoo 17.0, 18.0, and 19.0, Community or Enterprise — we confirm your edition during scoping because a few conveniences (studio-style tweaks, advanced approvals) differ between them.
