This is a build-to-order Tap Payments gateway for Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce, engineered and installed for your store by ECOSIRE — not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. We deliver a proper Ecosire_TapPayments module under app/code, built on Magento's Payment service contracts and the gateway command pattern (CommandPoolInterface, Authorize/Capture/Refund/Void commands wired through di.xml), so it behaves like a first-class payment method rather than a bolt-on.
MENA shoppers expect their local rails. The module presents Tap's unified checkout — Visa/Mastercard, KNET (Kuwait), mada (Saudi Arabia), Benefit (Bahrain), plus Apple Pay and Google Pay — selectable on the storefront and in the admin order grid. Card flows enforce 3D Secure 2 challenge/frictionless handling, and webhook callbacks reconcile asynchronous methods like KNET so order state never drifts from Tap's source of truth.
Operationally, your team works inside Magento: capture authorizations, issue full or partial refunds, and void pending charges directly from Sales > Orders (all behind admin ACL resources). A custom logger records every gateway request/response (with PAN/token redaction), and order status mapping is configurable per payment method. Multi-store and multi-website setups get per-scope Tap credentials and currency configuration so a single Magento instance can serve KWD, SAR, BHD, AED and USD storefronts.
Because we build it for you, the integration matches your theme, your tax/checkout customizations, and your Adobe Commerce or Open Source version. After delivery, ECOSIRE installs it on your staging and production environments, runs sandbox-to-live verification, and provides ongoing support and compatibility updates. You own clean, readable code — no encrypted blobs, no vendor lock-in.

How long until the Tap Payments gateway is delivered and live on my store?
This is a build-to-order extension, so it is not an instant download. Typical delivery is about 5 to 10 business days from confirmation of your Magento version, theme and Tap merchant credentials. That window covers building the module, installing it on your staging environment, sandbox testing across card/KNET/wallet flows, and the go-live cutover on production. Complex multi-website or heavily customized checkouts may add a few days, which we confirm up front.
Do I get ongoing support and updates after delivery?
Yes. Every build includes a post-delivery support window for bug fixes and compatibility updates against your Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce version and the Tap API. ECOSIRE installs and stands behind the module, and because you receive clean, unencrypted source under app/code, your own team can also read and extend it. Extended support and maintenance beyond the included window are available on request.
Which Tap payment methods are supported?
The unified Tap integration covers Visa/Mastercard, KNET (Kuwait), mada (Saudi Arabia) and Benefit (Bahrain), plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Exact availability depends on what your Tap merchant account is approved for; we enable and test the methods active on your account during the sandbox-to-live verification.
Will this work with my multi-store, multi-currency GCC setup?
Yes. The module supports per-website and per-store Tap credentials and currency configuration, so a single Magento instance can serve KWD, SAR, BHD, AED and USD storefronts with the correct methods and settings for each scope. We configure the scopes as part of installation.
Is it secure and PCI-compliant?
Card data is tokenized through Tap's hosted/SDK flow, so raw PAN data never touches your Magento server, keeping you in the lower-effort PCI SAQ tier. The module enforces 3D Secure 2, gates admin configuration and refund/capture actions behind Magento ACL resources, and redacts sensitive fields in its gateway logs.
