Tabby & Tamara BNPL for Magento 2 is a custom payment integration that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs, and supports on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store — not an instant Marketplace download. We register two payment methods under app/code/Ecosire/BnplGcc, implementing Magento's payment method service contracts (Magento\Payment\Model\MethodInterface via the gateway command pool) so Tabby and Tamara appear natively in the payment step of Luma or your headless (PWA/GraphQL) checkout.
The build wires each provider's Checkout / Sessions API: on order placement we create a payment session via a CommandPool gateway command, redirect the shopper to the provider's hosted approval flow, then confirm capture through a webhook controller guarded by HMAC signature verification. Split-in-4 interest-free installments are presented to the customer; you receive the full order value at settlement. Pre-checkout, BNPL promo widgets render on product and cart pages through a UI component / layout XML block that calls the provider's pricing snippet, and an eligibility & limit check (currency, country, min/max basket) hides the method when an order can't qualify — avoiding declined-at-redirect drop-off.
Refunds and settlement are first-class: admin credit memos trigger refund gateway commands (full and partial), and a cron reconciliation job aligns Magento order state with provider settlement status. Everything is covered by admin ACL, encrypted config in core_config_data, and system.xml sandbox/production toggles. We deliver against your exact Magento version, theme, and GCC currency (AED/SAR/KWD/etc.), then provide a warranty window and optional ongoing support. No. This is a build-to-order integration. ECOSIRE engineers the Ecosire_BnplGcc module against your specific Magento version, theme, and GCC currencies, then installs and validates it on your store. You are buying a built-and-installed solution with support, not a self-service Marketplace ZIP.
How long until BNPL is live on my checkout?
After purchase we confirm your Magento version (Open Source or Adobe Commerce), storefront type (Luma or headless), and target currencies, then schedule the build. Typical delivery is roughly one working week depending on theme complexity and how quickly your Tabby and Tamara merchant accounts and API credentials are available. We give you a firm date during scoping before any build starts.
Do I need my own Tabby and Tamara merchant accounts?
Yes. Tabby and Tamara each onboard, underwrite, and settle merchants directly. You hold the merchant contracts and receive settlement; we integrate the gateways using the API keys and webhook secrets from your provider dashboards. We can guide you through obtaining and configuring credentials during the build.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
Delivery includes a warranty window for defect fixes after go-live. Because Tabby, Tamara, and Magento all ship updates, we offer an optional ongoing support and maintenance plan covering API/webhook changes, Magento minor-version compatibility, and enhancements. Without a plan, post-warranty changes are quoted per request.
