Most Magento↔Mailchimp problems come from flaky third-party connectors: silent sync failures, duplicated subscribers, missing order data and abandoned-cart feeds that quietly stop firing after an upgrade. ECOSIRE's Mailchimp Connector is a build-to-order Magento 2 extension — we build it as a proper module under app/code/Ecosire/MailchimpConnector, install it on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce instance, and stand behind it.

The connector subscribes to Magento events via observers (customer_save_after, newsletter_subscriber_save_after, sales_order_place_after, checkout_cart_save_after) and uses the Mailchimp Marketing API v3 to push Audiences/lists, segments and tags, e-commerce stores, products, carts and orders. Heavy syncs run through a dedicated message queue consumer and cron jobs so they never block checkout or the admin. Configuration lives in a namespaced system.xml section under Stores → Configuration, gated by admin ACL so only authorized roles can edit API keys (stored encrypted via Magento's config encryption).

Because it's built for your store, the merge-field and tag mapping matches your actual customer attributes and the opt-in / double opt-in and consent flow honours your GDPR setup. Abandoned-cart data is fed to Mailchimp's e-commerce endpoints so its Customer Journey / abandoned-cart automations have real cart contents to work with.

Is this an instant download from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?

No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE builds the module for your specific Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce version and store setup, then installs it on your instance and validates the first full sync. There is no instant Marketplace download or per-seat licence server — you receive the full source code.

How long until it's live on my store?

Typical delivery is about 5–10 business days from kickoff, depending on your Magento version, theme/customizations, your Mailchimp account state and how much custom merge-field/segment mapping you need. We confirm a firm date after a short scoping call and a look at your environment.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Installation comes with a support window for any sync or configuration issues. Because you own the source, you can maintain it in-house; or we offer ongoing support and compatibility updates (for new Magento patch releases or Mailchimp Marketing API changes) as a separate maintenance arrangement. We'll quote that based on your store.

Does it work on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce?

Yes. The module uses standard Magento 2 mechanisms — observers, DI/di.xml, service contracts, message queues, cron and ACL — that exist in both editions. On Adobe Commerce we can also align with B2B company accounts or shared-catalog logic if your setup needs it; that's part of scoping.

Will it slow down checkout or the admin?

No. Sync work runs asynchronously through Magento message-queue consumers and cron, not inline during checkout or page saves. Events enqueue lightweight jobs; the actual Mailchimp API calls happen in the background, and failed records are visible and re-queueable in an admin status grid rather than silently dropped.
