This is a build-to-order Magento 2 extension, not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE develops a production-grade Stripe gateway against your store's version, theme and checkout, then installs, configures and supports it on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce environment.
The module ships as a proper composer package under app/code/Ecosire/StripePayments, registered via registration.php and module.xml. It implements Magento's payment gateway service contracts — Magento\Payment\Gateway\Command, request/response builders, validators and a Magento\Payment\Gateway\Http\ClientInterface wired through di.xml — so authorize, capture, sale, void and refund flow through Magento's standard order/invoice/credit-memo lifecycle rather than a bolt-on.
At checkout you get Stripe Payment Element (cards plus 100+ methods: wallets, ACH, SEPA, BNPL where eligible), Apple Pay and Google Pay express buttons on PDP, cart and checkout, and Stripe Link. Every transaction is SCA / 3D Secure 2.0 compliant via PaymentIntents, with off-session handling for saved cards.
Customers can save cards to a Stripe-vaulted payment instrument (PCI-friendly — card data is tokenized client-side and never touches your server). A signed webhook controller (CSRF-exempt, ACL-gated admin config) reconciles refunds, disputes/chargebacks and subscription events back into Magento, with idempotency on event IDs.
Admin configuration lives in Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods, protected by admin ACL, supporting test/live keys, capture mode, accepted methods and per-website scope. Optional GraphQL and REST coverage keeps the gateway headless/PWA-ready.
