Shiprocket Integration for Magento 2 (India) is a build-to-order extension that wires your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store directly into the Shiprocket aggregator API, unlocking 40+ Indian courier partners — Delhivery, Blue Dart, FedEx, Ecom Express, and more — through a single account. This is not an instant Marketplace download: ECOSIRE develops the module, installs it on your environment, and supports it after go-live.
The extension ships as a standard app/code Magento module (Ecosire_Shiprocket) built on real platform contracts. A custom carrier model (Magento\Shipping\Model\Carrier\AbstractCarrierInterface) calls Shiprocket's serviceability and rate API at checkout, so customers see live, pincode-aware rates and estimated delivery days rather than flat guesses. OAuth token handling, retries, and response caching are isolated behind a service contract so your storefront stays fast and resilient when the upstream API is slow.
Order fulfilment is automated through observers on sales_order_save_after and shipment events, plus a plugin (interceptor) on the shipping workflow that pushes orders to Shiprocket, generates AWB numbers, shipping labels, and packing slips, and writes tracking back to the order so Magento's native track-and-trace and customer emails just work. A cron job polls Shiprocket for status transitions and keeps inventory/fulfilment status in sync.
Everything is admin-controlled: credentials, courier preferences, and custom shipping rules live in a dedicated System Configuration section guarded by admin ACL, with structured logging for support. Wiring is done correctly via di.xml, events.xml, system.xml, and acl.xml — no core hacks. Because we build it for you, the rules, pickup locations, and edge cases match your catalog and operations, and we stay on to maintain it as Shiprocket and Magento evolve.

Is this an instant download from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?
No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE develops the Ecosire_Shiprocket module, installs it on your Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce environment, configures it against your Shiprocket account, and supports it. There is no instant Marketplace download or self-serve link — you get a module built and deployed for your specific store.
What is the delivery lead time after I order?
Typical delivery is about one working week from the point we receive Shiprocket API access and admin access to your environment. A standard build (live rates, order push, labels, tracking sync, your custom shipping rules) lands in that window; heavily customized rules, multiple pickup locations, or unusual checkout customizations can extend it. We confirm a firm timeline after a short scoping call before any work starts.
How do ongoing support and updates work?
Each build includes a defined support window after go-live during which we fix defects and adjust configuration at no extra charge. Beyond that, Shiprocket API changes and Magento version upgrades are covered under an optional maintenance arrangement. Because we built the module, we keep it compatible as both platforms evolve — you are not left holding orphaned code.
Does it work on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce?
Yes. The module is built on standard platform APIs — carrier models, service contracts, plugins, observers, di.xml and system.xml wiring — so it runs on Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce alike. We tailor the deployment (di:compile, setup:upgrade, static content) to your edition and hosting, and avoid core modifications so it stays upgrade-safe.
Will customers see real courier rates at checkout, or just a flat rate?
Real rates. A custom Magento carrier model calls Shiprocket's serviceability and rate API using the destination pincode, weight, and COD/prepaid type, returning live, courier-specific charges and estimated delivery days at checkout. You can also apply rules — cheapest, fastest, or a preferred courier — and set free-shipping thresholds in the admin.
Do I need a Shiprocket account, and who owns the credentials?
Yes, you need an active Shiprocket account; the integration uses its API on your behalf. You own the account and the API credentials — we only configure them inside your Magento admin, stored in the ACL-protected System Configuration section. You can rotate or revoke them at any time without touching code.
