AI Merchant Copilot is a Magento 2 admin assistant that lives inside your backend and turns plain-English requests into real work — answering questions over your catalog, orders, and customers, drafting content directly in the product and category editors, and surfacing merchandising tasks (pricing gaps, restock candidates, missing SEO metadata).
This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. It is a build-to-order extension that ECOSIRE engineers, installs, and supports on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce instance. We tailor the module to your data model, custom attributes, ACL structure, and chosen LLM provider before handing over a tested, production-ready install.
Technically, the copilot ships as a standard module under app/code/Ecosire/AiCopilot, wired through dependency injection (di.xml) and service contracts so it reads catalog, sales, and customer data through Magento's repositories — never raw SQL. A dedicated admin UI component adds the chat panel and inline drafting buttons; plugins/interceptors and observers on core events capture context (the product being edited, the order being viewed). A multi-LLM backend abstracts OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini behind one interface, so you can switch providers or self-host without touching call sites.
Every AI action is governed by Magento admin ACL (role-based menu and resource permissions) and written to an audit log, so you control which roles can ask, draft, or trigger automations — and you can review exactly what the assistant did. How long does delivery take, and what do you need from us?

How do you keep the AI safe with our store data and admin access?
The copilot reads data through Magento service contracts and repositories — never raw SQL — so it respects existing data boundaries. Every action is gated by native admin ACL, so you decide which roles can ask, draft, or trigger automations, and every prompt, response, and applied change is written to an audit log. AI-drafted content and automation suggestions are human-in-the-loop by default: nothing is saved or applied until an admin approves it. LLM API keys are stored encrypted, and you can self-host or switch providers since the backend is provider-agnostic.
Does it write changes to my store automatically?
Only when you approve them. By design the copilot drafts and suggests — generated descriptions, meta tags, restock and pricing recommendations — and an admin reviews and confirms before anything is saved. You can scope which roles even have the ability to apply changes through ACL, and the audit log records who applied what.
