The module ships as a standard package under app/code/Ecosire/AffiliateMarketing, wired through di.xml, events.xml observers and a custom service contract layer so it integrates cleanly rather than patching core. Affiliate clicks are attributed with a first-party cookie set by a frontend plugin/interceptor, and a sales_order_place_after observer records commissions against the order. Both referral-link and coupon-code attribution are supported, the latter by reading Magento's native SalesRule (cart price rules) so influencers can share a branded code.
Commissions are rule-driven: define unlimited programs, each with percentage or fixed payouts, category/product scoping, and automatic tier switching when an affiliate crosses a revenue threshold (evaluated by a cron job). Affiliates get a self-service dashboard with traffic-source and conversion reports, and can file withdrawal requests that route through an admin approval workflow protected by ACL resources.
