关于此产品
Fashion, footwear, and apparel retail lives and dies by the size/color grid. A single style ships in dozens of variants, and ERPNext models each one as a distinct Item Variant under an Item Template with has_variants and its own Item Attributes. That data model is correct, but the native UI was never designed for a merchandiser thinking in matrices: adding a new season means creating variants one at a time, receiving stock means hunting through a flat item list, and the standard POS Awesomebar makes a cashier type to disambiguate "black / M" from "black / L" mid-queue. ERPNext core gives you the ledger; it does not give you the grid. That gap is where apparel retailers stall, resort to spreadsheets, or mis-count inventory at the variant level.
We build a proper Frappe app — a versioned, bench get-app-installable module, not a pile of customizations — that layers matrix merchandising and a fashion POS on top of your existing ERPNext without forking core. The heart is a size/color matrix grid: a client-scripted UI where a merchandiser picks a Style/Item Template and enters quantities, prices, or barcodes across a rows-by-columns grid (for example size down the side, color across the top), and a whitelisted server method (frappe.whitelist()) fans that grid out into the correct Item Variants, Item Barcodes, and stock or price rows in one transaction. Barcode-per-variant generation is wired through a hooks.py doc event so every variant that comes into existence gets a scannable code (EAN-13 / Code128) attached to its Item Barcode child table, and the POS is extended so a scan resolves straight to the exact variant line — no cashier lookup. A Matrix Stock View DocType and Query Report roll Bin quantities back up into the same grid across every Warehouse/store, so a buyer sees the full size curve per store at a glance and spots the broken sizes before they become markdowns. Season/collection and style attributes are added as custom fields and a Collection DocType so you can merchandise, filter, and report by season the way the industry actually works.
Everything is built to ERPNext conventions so it survives upgrades and audits: real DocTypes with fixtures, Server Scripts and app hooks rather than hand-edits, Client Scripts for the grid UX, permissions expressed through Role Profiles and DocType permissions (a cashier role sees POS, a merchandiser role sees the matrix, a buyer sees the stock view), and Scheduler Events for any nightly reconciliation such as re-syncing barcodes or flagging negative variant stock. The matrix grid and stock view are also reachable over the Frappe REST API and custom whitelisted endpoints, so a Shopify/marketplace connector or a mobile stock-count tool can read and write the same variant data. It targets Frappe/ERPNext v15 and v16.
Because this is build-to-order, nothing here is a one-click marketplace download. After a short scoping call we confirm your exact attribute structure (your real size runs, color libraries, and season taxonomy), your store/warehouse layout, and your POS workflow, then quote a fixed scope. We build on a staging bench, hand you the code for User Acceptance Testing, and — on your sign-off — install into production with a documented rollback path. Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope, depending on how many attributes, stores, and integrations are in play. You receive the source, the git repository, technical and user documentation, a training session, and a post-go-live support window.
你得到什么

- Installation and configuration on your ERPNext instance, including Item Attributes, Role Profiles, and POS setup
- Technical documentation covering DocTypes, hooks, whitelisted methods, and scheduler events
- End-user guide plus a live training session for merchandisers, buyers, and POS cashiers
- Post-go-live support window for fixes and questions after launch
- UAT on a staging bench before production, with a documented rollback plan
- Handover of the git repository so you own the full source and history
- Data-model setup notes for your season/collection taxonomy and barcode scheme
这是给谁的
Multi-store apparel retailer
Runs several fashion stores on ERPNext and needs a single size-by-color view of stock across every warehouse to spot broken sizes and rebalance before markdowns, instead of exporting variant lists to spreadsheets.
Footwear and accessories merchandiser
Thinks in size runs and color libraries and wants to create, price, and re-order a whole style as a grid — not variant by variant — while keeping the correct ERPNext Item Variant structure underneath.
POS-heavy fashion boutique owner
Needs cashiers to scan a barcode and hit the exact black/M line instantly at a busy till, with season and collection tagging so reporting reflects how the buying calendar actually works.
Fashion-brand IT / ERP lead
Owns the ERPNext instance and wants matrix merchandising delivered as a versioned Frappe app with fixtures, permissions, and REST endpoints that survive v15/v16 upgrades and pass an internal audit.
Apparel & Fashion Retail Matrix POS for ERPNext 如何比较
| 标准 | 伊科西尔 | 定制建造 | 竞争对手 | ERPNext 原生 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Size/color matrix entry | Grid built to your real size runs, one save fans out all variants | Possible but you design and maintain the grid yourself | Generic matrix, often fixed attribute assumptions | No grid — create Item Variants one at a time |
| Barcode per variant | Auto-generated via hooks.py doc event, wired into POS scan | Must build the doc event and POS resolution yourself | Sometimes included, POS integration varies | Item Barcode field exists but no per-variant automation |
| Cross-store matrix stock | Bin quantities rolled into a size-by-color grid per store | Build the Query Report and DocType from scratch | Basic stock view, rarely a true matrix across stores | Flat stock reports, no matrix view |
| Season/collection management | Collection DocType plus custom fields for buying-calendar reporting | Add fields and reports yourself | Limited or absent | No native season/collection concept |
| Fit to your business | Scoped to your attributes, stores, roles, and POS flow | Fully bespoke but you carry all design decisions | Configure within the vendor's assumptions | Generic ERPNext defaults only |
| Upgrade safety (v15/v16) | Fixtures, hooks, DocTypes — survives bench migrate | Depends on your engineering discipline | Depends on the vendor's update cadence | N/A — no added functionality |
| Ownership & support | Full source, git handover, post-go-live support window | You own it and support it entirely in-house | Vendor-locked, subscription or per-seat support | Community/ERPNext support only |
| Time to live | one working week from confirmed scope, tested on staging | Weeks to months depending on in-house capacity | Fast install but rework to fit your workflow | Immediate but manual variant workflow remains |
关于Apparel & Fashion Retail Matrix POS的常见问题
Is this a ready-made app I can download and install today?
No. This is a build-to-order engagement. ECOSIRE scopes your exact attribute structure, stores, and POS workflow, then builds the Frappe app for your instance, tests it on staging, and installs it into production. There is no instant marketplace download.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope. The exact timeline depends on how many size/color attributes, stores/warehouses, and integrations (for example a Shopify connector) are in play. We give you a fixed timeline with the quote after the scoping call.
How does it handle support and updates after go-live?
Every build includes a post-go-live support window for fixes and questions. Because it is delivered as a proper versioned Frappe app with fixtures and hooks — not hand-edits to core — it is compatible with Frappe/ERPNext v15 and v16, and we can quote ongoing maintenance or upgrades to future ERPNext releases separately.
Will this break when I run `bench migrate` or upgrade ERPNext?
No. It is built to ERPNext conventions — real DocTypes, custom fields and Property Setters shipped as fixtures, `hooks.py` doc events, Server and Client Scripts — rather than direct edits to core files. That is exactly what lets it survive `bench migrate` and version upgrades.
Does it change how ERPNext stores my items and stock?
No. It uses the native ERPNext data model: Item Templates with `has_variants`, Item Variants, Item Barcodes, and `Bin` stock ledgers. The matrix grid and stock view are a merchandising and POS layer on top — your inventory, accounting, and reporting stay standard ERPNext.
Can it connect to Shopify or a marketplace?
Yes. The matrix and variant data are exposed through the Frappe REST API and custom whitelisted endpoints, so a Shopify or marketplace connector, or a mobile stock-count tool, can read and write the same variants. The specific integration is scoped and quoted as part of your build.
What do I need to provide to get an accurate quote?
Your real size runs and color library, your store/warehouse layout, your season/collection taxonomy, your barcode scheme, and any integrations you want. We cover this in a 15-45 minute scoping call and turn it into a fixed scope and timeline.
