关于此产品
Most finance and operations leaders run ERPNext for months before hitting the same wall: the native Number Card and Dashboard Chart tools are fine for a handful of single-DocType widgets, but they don't compose into an executive view. You can't easily blend Sales Invoice, Payment Entry, Stock Ledger Entry and Salary Slip into one board, comparative period and YoY logic has to be hand-rolled per chart, and every "can you send me last quarter's numbers as a PDF" request turns into a manual export. Query Reports and Script Reports can do more, but each one is a bespoke build — and the moment you have 40 of them, nobody remembers which is authoritative or who is allowed to see it.
The Advanced BI Dashboards & Reports Pack is a proper Frappe app (its own module, installed via bench get-app and bench install-app) that we build against your live chart of accounts, item groups, territories and cost centers. It ships a curated library of executive dashboards — a starting set of 50+ KPI cards and Dashboard Charts across sales, finance, inventory and HR — plus a layer of cross-module Script Reports whose whitelisted methods join data across DocTypes that native ERPNext keeps siloed. Drill-down is wired through Frappe's standard report add_totals_row and linked-report navigation, so a board-level revenue tile expands to territory, then customer, then the underlying Sales Invoice rows without leaving the browser. Comparative period and year-over-year columns are computed server-side in the report's execute() so the math is consistent everywhere, not re-derived per widget.
Technically, the pack is built the way a maintainable Frappe app should be. Aggregations that are too heavy to compute on demand are pre-rolled by scheduler_events (hourly/daily cron entries in hooks.py) into summary DocTypes, so opening a 12-month trend board is a single indexed read instead of a full-table scan. Scheduled PDF/Excel delivery uses Frappe's Auto Email Report plus custom scheduler jobs to push each stakeholder their board on the cadence they need. Visibility is governed by ERPNext's own permission model — dashboards and reports are bound to Role Profiles and roles, and where a CFO should see consolidated figures while a regional manager sees only their territory, we enforce it with User Permissions and get_permission_query_conditions rather than by hiding widgets client-side. Everything is exposed cleanly over the Frappe REST API and whitelisted methods, so the same numbers can feed an embedded portal page or an external tool if you need them to.
Because this is build-to-order, nothing is a generic template dropped on your site. We start from a short scoping call, confirm which KPIs actually matter to your leadership, map them to your real DocTypes and dimensions, and build against a staging copy of your data. You review the dashboards in UAT before anything touches production. The pack targets ERPNext / Frappe v15 and v16, ships as installable source in your own git repository, and comes with a documented handover so your team — or ours — can extend it later. Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope, depending on how many boards and custom joins you need.

这是给谁的
CFO / Finance Director
Wants a consolidated P&L, cash, AR/AP and YoY view that reconciles to the GL, delivered as a PDF each morning, without asking the finance team to rebuild exports every month.
Operations / Inventory Manager
Needs live drill-down into stock valuation, ageing, turnover and fulfilment across warehouses, blending Stock Ledger and Sales data that native ERPNext keeps in separate reports.
Sales Leader / Regional Manager
Wants pipeline, revenue-by-territory and target-vs-actual boards scoped so each regional manager sees only their own numbers, enforced by ERPNext permissions rather than the honour system.
ERPNext Admin / IT Lead
Responsible for the instance and wants a maintainable, upgrade-safe app with source in git, documented hooks and scheduler jobs, not a pile of undocumented one-off Query Reports.
Advanced BI Dashboards & Reports Pack 如何比较
| 标准 | 伊科西尔 | 定制建造 | 竞争对手 | ERPNext 原生 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cross-module data joins | Script Reports join sales, finance, stock and HR DocTypes out of the box | Possible but you build every join and maintain it yourself | Usually single-DocType widgets; little true cross-module blending | Dashboard Charts are largely per-DocType; manual Query Reports for the rest |
| Comparative period & YoY | Computed server-side once, consistent across all boards | Hand-rolled per report; easy to drift | Sometimes offered, often per-widget and inconsistent | Not built in; you code period logic into each report |
| Performance at scale | Pre-aggregated summary DocTypes via scheduler; indexed reads | Depends entirely on your team's optimization effort | Often computes on demand; slows on large datasets | Full-table scans on heavy trend charts |
| Role & row-level visibility | Role Profiles + User Permissions + query conditions, server-enforced | You must design and enforce the permission layer | Typically role-level only; limited row scoping | Standard permissions, but no BI-specific scoping helpers |
| Scheduled PDF/Excel delivery | Configured per stakeholder via Auto Email Report + custom jobs | DIY scheduler jobs and templates | Varies; may need a separate paid add-on | Auto Email Report exists but must be set up per report by hand |
| Fit to your data | Built against your real accounts, items, territories in UAT | Fully bespoke, but at full custom cost and timeline | Generic template; you remap fields yourself | Whatever you configure manually |
| Ownership & maintainability | Versioned source in your git repo + docs + training | You own it, and all the maintenance burden | Often closed or obfuscated; vendor lock-in | Config only; scattered one-off reports over time |
| Support model | Post-go-live support window + optional ongoing support | Whatever you staff internally | Marketplace ticket queue, variable quality | Community forums / your own admin |
关于Advanced BI Dashboards & Reports Pack的常见问题
Is this an instant download from the Frappe marketplace?
No. This is a build-to-order engagement. ECOSIRE builds the BI pack against your live ERPNext data — your chart of accounts, item groups, territories and roles — installs it, and supports it. You receive the source in your own git repository; there is no pre-packaged file to download and self-install blind.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope. The exact timeline depends on how many dashboards you need, how many custom cross-module joins are involved, and the state of your data. After the initial scoping call we give you a firm estimate before any work starts.
Which ERPNext versions are supported?
We build and test against ERPNext / Frappe v15 and v16. During scoping we confirm your exact version and bench setup so the app is packaged to install and upgrade cleanly on your instance.
How is access to sensitive financial data controlled?
Visibility uses ERPNext's own permission model. Dashboards and reports are bound to Role Profiles and roles, and row-level scoping (for example a regional manager seeing only their territory) is enforced server-side with User Permissions and `get_permission_query_conditions` — not by hiding widgets in the browser, which can be bypassed.
Will this slow down my ERPNext instance?
No. Heavy aggregations are pre-computed by scheduler jobs into indexed summary DocTypes, so opening a multi-month trend board is a single fast read rather than a full-table scan at request time. We tune the joins and caching as part of the build.
What about support and future ERPNext updates?
Every engagement includes a post-go-live support window for bug fixes and configuration adjustments. Because the app is delivered as versioned source in your git repository with documented hooks and scheduler jobs, it can be maintained and upgraded alongside future ERPNext releases — by your team or by us under a support arrangement.
Can we add our own dashboards later?
Yes. You get the full source, technical documentation and a training session, so your ERPNext admin can add Dashboard Charts, extend the Script Reports, or wire new whitelisted methods. Nothing is locked or obfuscated.
