Braintree Connector for Business Central

This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant download. After we confirm your Braintree merchant setup, payment methods, currencies and recurring rules, typical delivery is a few weeks. We build and verify against your Braintree sandbox and a BC sandbox first, then install on production. No. It is a per-tenant extension that ECOSIRE develops, installs and supports directly on your tenant. There is no public AppSource listing to click-install. The trade-off is that it is shaped to your chart of accounts, journals and approval flows, you receive the AL source code, and credentials live in your tenant's Isolated Storage rather than a third party's app.

The build includes a post-go-live support window for bug fixes and questions. Because Business Central ships monthly service updates and major releases twice a year, we run compatibility checks against upcoming releases and adjust the extension as needed. Ongoing maintenance beyond the initial window is available as a support retainer so the connector keeps passing AppSource-style technical validation and stays current with the Braintree API.

Raw card data never lands in your Business Central tenant. The connector uses Braintree hosted fields / client tokenization, so the PAN goes straight to Braintree and only a vault token is stored against the BC Customer. This keeps card data out of your ERP and reduces your PCI DSS scope. 3DS2 authentication is performed at checkout and only its result is retained for audit and chargeback evidence.

Yes. Vaulted Braintree tokens are charged on schedule by a Business Central Job Queue entry. Each successful charge posts a cash receipt against the customer, failed charges surface in the Job Queue log with retry handling, and refunds or cancellations sync back to the originating BC documents. The billing cadence and dunning behavior are configured to match your subscription model during the build.

Yes. The extension targets the standard AL extension model, so it installs on Business Central online (SaaS) and supported on-premises deployments. For on-prem, the webhook endpoint and outbound API connectivity to Braintree are configured to your network; for online, we use the BC API/OData surface and tenant-managed Isolated Storage.
