Most shippers run freight planning in spreadsheets and carrier portals that live entirely outside the ERP, so the true landed cost of a sales or purchase order is never known until the invoice arrives. This Transportation Management System closes that gap by living inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a native AL extension — not a bolt-on portal.
ECOSIRE builds, installs, and supports this as a per-tenant extension deployed straight to your Business Central environment (cloud or on-prem). It is not an instant AppSource download. We scope your carrier mix, freight terms, and rating logic, develop the AL app, install it on a sandbox for UAT, then publish to production and hand over permission sets and documentation.
What it does technically. New AL tables and page extensions add a Freight Order and Load Planning workspace alongside Sales and Purchase documents. Table extensions on the Item Ledger and Value Entry carry freight cost down to the item and lot level, feeding standard BC landed-cost and inventory valuation. Event subscribers on document posting trigger rate requests; an integration layer calls your carrier/LTL rating gateways over the BC REST/OData v4 API or a configured service connector, returning quotes that a carrier-selection routine ranks by cost, route, and transit time. The job queue handles tracking polls and benchmark-vs-actual freight analytics. Optional Dataverse / Power Platform virtual-table sync exposes loads to Power BI and Power Apps for dispatch teams.
Everything respects BC permission sets, the multi-company structure, and your existing posting groups. Because it is your own per-tenant extension, you are never blocked by another vendor's roadmap — change requests go straight to ECOSIRE.

No. This is a build-to-order per-tenant AL extension. ECOSIRE scopes your carrier mix and rating logic, develops the app against your Business Central major version, installs it on a sandbox for UAT, then publishes to your production tenant. You receive your own extension — not a shared marketplace listing.
Typical delivery is 4 to 7 weeks from a signed functional spec, depending on how many carrier gateways and rating rules are in scope. We confirm a dated milestone plan during scoping: spec sign-off, sandbox install and UAT, then production publish. The 799 USD price covers the standard build defined in the spec; integrations to unusual or undocumented carrier APIs are quoted separately.
Because it is your own per-tenant extension, ECOSIRE provides bug fixes and recompiles it against new Business Central major releases (Microsoft ships two a year) under a support agreement. Change requests — new carriers, new lanes, new analytics — go straight to us with no third-party roadmap to wait on. We test each recompile on your sandbox before touching production.
Yes. The extension uses table and page extensions rather than replacing standard objects, so it coexists with your other apps. It respects your existing posting groups, multi-company structure, and permission sets, and we add dedicated TMS permission sets so each role sees only its scoped data.
Optionally, yes. We can expose loads and shipment status through Dataverse virtual tables so a dispatch board runs in Power Apps and analytics live in Power BI, while the system of record stays in Business Central. Data is read through the BC OData/REST API, so there is no duplicate freight database to reconcile.
