Supplier Quality & Incoming Inspection is a custom Dynamics 365 Business Central extension that gives purchasing and quality teams real control over vendor-supplied material — without bolting on a separate quality system or living in spreadsheets.

This is a build-to-order app, not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE builds it in AL as a per-tenant extension (or, where you prefer, a private AppSource-style app package), installs it directly on your Business Central environment (cloud SaaS or on-prem), and supports it afterward. We tailor the inspection plans, sampling rules, and scorecard formulas to how your team actually works.

Functionally, the extension subscribes to posting events on Purchase Receipts (OnAfterPostPurchaseDoc) to auto-raise inspection records, places received quantity into a quarantine/non-conforming Location or bin until disposition, and writes inspection results back against the item ledger. Inspection plans are defined per Item / Vendor No. combination, with skip-lot and AQL sampling rules to right-size inspection effort. Vendor scorecards aggregate receipt acceptance, on-time delivery, and SCAR closure into a rolling rating exposed on the Vendor Card via a page extension.

Everything is real Business Central: table and page extensions, event subscribers, permission sets scoped for QA vs. purchasing, job queue entries for periodic scorecard recalculation, and the standard OData v4 / REST API so Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse can read inspection and SCAR data. No core objects are modified, so your base BC stays upgrade-safe across Microsoft's monthly and major releases.
