Inspection templates, test specifications, and sampling rules live in new tables; table and page extensions surface inspection status on the Purchase Receipt, Production Order, Warehouse Receipt, and Sales Shipment so quality lives where work already happens. Event subscribers on posting routines auto-generate the right inspection — by item, vendor, or routing operation — at receiving, in-process, and pre-shipment gates, so nothing posts without the QC step you defined.
Inspectors record field-level pass/fail with automated grading, apply AQL sampling plans to size samples and accept/reject lots, and trigger hold/quarantine by moving rejected stock to a blocked location or bin and raising a non-conformance record. Captured results are exposed through a Business Central API page (REST/OData v4) so dashboards, Power BI, and Power Automate flows can read inspection history, and an optional Dataverse virtual-table mapping lets Power Apps drive tablet capture on the shop floor.

Typical delivery is 3–6 weeks depending on the number of test types, gates, and integrations. The process is: requirements and test-catalog scoping, AL development of the per-tenant extension, deployment to your Business Central sandbox for UAT, then promotion to production with training and handover. You'll have a working build in your own sandbox before anything touches production.

The one-time price covers the build, installation, and handover. An optional support plan covers bug fixes, compatibility updates when Microsoft ships major and minor Business Central releases (so your extension keeps installing cleanly), and configuration changes such as new test types or gates. Without a plan, the extension keeps running, but version-compatibility work is quoted per request.
+Will it work with cloud Business Central (SaaS) and on-prem?
Yes. It's standard AL and deploys to Business Central online (SaaS) as a per-tenant extension, or to on-premises Business Central. The API pages use REST/OData v4 in both, and Power Platform integration via Dataverse is available on cloud tenants.

Inspections, results, and non-conformances are exposed through Business Central API pages (REST/OData v4), so Power BI can report on them directly and Power Automate can react to failed inspections. +Can it enforce that nothing ships or posts without passing inspection?
Yes. Because generation and validation run through event subscribers on the standard posting routines, we can block posting of a receipt, output, or shipment until the required inspection reaches a passing disposition — turning QC from a paper formality into an enforced gate.
