The Amazon Marketplace Connector for Business Central is a custom AL extension that ECOSIRE builds, installs and supports on your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment (cloud/SaaS or on-prem). It is not an instant AppSource download — it is a build-to-order engagement: we scope your Amazon footprint, build the extension against your data, deploy it as a per-tenant extension, and stay on for support.
At its core the connector talks to the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) using LWA (Login with Amazon) OAuth credentials you authorize for your seller account. Inbound order pulls land Amazon orders (FBA and FBM) as Business Central Sales Orders with correct customer mapping, tax, and shipment data; settlement and fee reports reconcile against your General Ledger so marketplace fees, FBA fees and refunds post to the right accounts. Outbound, the extension pushes item availability and price updates to your listings on a schedule.
The build uses real BC building blocks: table and page extensions for Amazon-specific fields, event subscribers to hook posting and shipment routines, the Job Queue for scheduled SP-API polling and report ingestion, dedicated permission sets, and a setup page for credentials and marketplace selection. Where you run Power Platform, we can surface sync status and exceptions through Dataverse / Power BI.

How long does delivery take, and is this an AppSource download?
This is a build-to-order engagement, not an instant AppSource install. Typical delivery is around one working week depending on the number of marketplaces, your fulfillment mix (FBA/FBM) and how clean your item/SKU mapping is. We start with a scoping call, build and test the AL extension against your data, then deploy it as a per-tenant extension on your Business Central environment with a documented handover. We will confirm a firm lead time during scoping before any build work begins.
What support and updates do I get after go-live?
ECOSIRE supports the running extension through Amazon SP-API changes and Business Central update waves. The included build covers installation, a stabilization period and bug fixes against the agreed scope. Ongoing maintenance — adapting to Amazon API deprecations, BC major-version upgrades and new feature requests — is available as a support arrangement we agree with you. Because you own the deployed extension, you are never locked out of your own integration.
Does it work with both Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central?
Yes — the connector is built against the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), which covers Seller Central (1P/3P seller flows including FBA and FBM). Vendor Central / 1P scenarios use different report and order endpoints; we confirm exactly which flows you need during scoping and build the extension to match, rather than shipping a generic mapping that may not fit your account type.
How are Amazon fees and settlements reconciled in Business Central?
The extension ingests Amazon settlement reports via SP-API and posts marketplace fees, FBA fees, refunds and adjustments to GL accounts you map during setup. Orders post as Sales Orders/Invoices, and settlement lines reconcile against them so your Amazon P&L ties out in Business Central without manual spreadsheet work. The fee-to-account mapping is part of the configuration we build with your finance team.
Will this conflict with my other Business Central customizations or upgrades?
It is delivered as a per-tenant AL extension using table/page extensions and event subscribers — the supported, non-intrusive extension model — rather than modifying base application objects. That keeps it compatible with Business Central's update cadence and isolated from your other extensions. We test against your tenant and version, and address compatibility during BC major upgrades as part of the support arrangement.
