The Amazon Marketplace Connector turns Dynamics 365 Business Central into the control centre for your Amazon channel. It is a custom AL extension that ECOSIRE builds, installs as a per-tenant extension, and supports on your own Business Central environment (cloud SaaS or on-prem). It is not an instant AppSource download — it is built to fit your item catalog, marketplaces and posting rules, then deployed to your tenant with a documented hand-over.

Under the hood the connector authenticates to the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) using LWA (Login with Amazon) tokens, stored in Isolated Storage so credentials never sit in plain tables. A set of table extensions adds Amazon SKU, ASIN, marketplace and fulfillment-channel fields to Item and Sales Header; page extensions surface them on the Item Card and Sales Order. Background sync runs through Job Queue Entries so listing, inventory and order polling happen on a schedule without locking up users.

Inventory and price changes flow out to Amazon (multi-marketplace), Amazon orders flow in as Business Central Sales Orders, and FBA versus FBM is handled distinctly — FBM orders post and ship from BC, FBA orders import as fulfilled with the Amazon order reference retained. Settlement reports are pulled and matched so marketplace fees, refunds and reimbursements reconcile against your G/L instead of being keyed by hand.

Event subscribers on standard release and posting events keep the channel in step with everyday BC activity, and a dedicated permission set scopes who can configure credentials and run syncs. Optional Dataverse / Power Platform surfacing lets you build channel dashboards in Power BI. ECOSIRE delivers the source, the deployment, and a support window so overselling and double entry stop being your problem.

How long does delivery take, and is this an AppSource download?

This is build-to-order, not an instant AppSource install. After a short scoping call ECOSIRE builds the AL extension for your Business Central version and Amazon setup. Typical delivery is around 3 to 5 weeks depending on marketplace count, FBA/FBM mix and settlement-posting complexity. We then install it as a per-tenant extension on your environment and walk you through configuration.

How is it installed on our Business Central environment?

We deploy it as a per-tenant extension (the compiled .app) to your cloud SaaS or on-prem BC tenant — no public AppSource listing is required. SP-API credentials are registered against your own Amazon Seller Central account and stored in Isolated Storage. You receive the source, the deployment package and a configuration runbook.

What ongoing support and updates are included?

Every build includes a post-go-live support window for bug fixes and configuration help. Because it is a per-tenant extension we version-pin it to your BC release, so we test and re-publish it ahead of major BC upgrades and adapt to Amazon SP-API changes under an optional ongoing support/maintenance agreement.

Does it handle multiple Amazon marketplaces and accounts?

Yes. The connector supports multiple Amazon marketplaces (e.g. different regions/storefronts) with per-marketplace price lists and SKU mappings. Additional Seller Central accounts can be configured during the build; we scope the exact marketplace and account count up front.

How does it prevent overselling?

Inventory is pushed to Amazon on a configurable Job Queue schedule and orders are polled in regularly, so available quantity reflects BC stock across channels. Event subscribers react to item releases and postings, and a sync log with a retry queue surfaces any failed update so it can be re-run before it causes an oversell.
