اس مصنوع کے بارے میں
Running a multilingual Odoo Website is where slug quality quietly breaks. When you publish a page in Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Greek, or Urdu, Odoo's native slugifier tends to strip non-Latin characters and fall back to a numeric or dash-heavy stem like /ar/page/12 — which is poison for organic search, share previews, and human readability. Native website.seo metadata lets you set titles and descriptions per page, but it gives you no governed, per-language URL strategy: you cannot reliably transliterate مرحبا-بالعالم into a readable Latin marhaba-bil-alam, keep a native-script slug where you actually want one, or guarantee that the same page carries a stable, non-colliding slug across each active res.lang. Teams end up hand-editing slugs page by page, which does not scale and drifts the moment a content editor re-saves a page.
This is what we build. The module adds a per-language URL layer on top of website.page and Odoo's ir.http routing so every published page resolves to a clean, translated-or-transliterated slug in each active language. Technically, we introduce a translatable slug field (fields.Char(translate=True)) driven by a compute/@api.depends chain over the page title and target res.lang, backed by a configurable transliteration engine — Unicode-aware romanization tables (ICU / unidecode-style mappings we ship inside the module data) plus per-language override rules you control from a settings view. A _slugify_transliterate() helper is wired into the page save flow and exposed to editors, so slugs are generated deterministically rather than typed by hand.
On the routing side we extend the controller/ir.http layer so incoming requests match the correct page by its localized slug, and we register 301 redirects (via website.rewrite) from any prior slug so you never lose accumulated link equity when a slug changes. Uniqueness is enforced with a per-language SQL constraint plus a collision-resolution strategy (numeric or contextual suffix) so two pages can never fight over the same localized path. Everything respects Odoo's multi-website and multi-company boundaries, and localized <link rel="alternate" hreflang> tags plus the XML sitemap are updated to emit the transliterated URLs, which is the part search engines actually reward. Access is governed through ir.model.access.csv and record rules so only website editors can alter slug rules. The engine runs identically on Odoo 17.0, 18.0, and 19.0 (Community and Enterprise), and remains scriptable through the standard XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API for bulk slug regeneration.
Because this is build-to-order, nothing ships until we agree on scope. After a short scoping call we confirm your target languages, transliteration conventions, redirect policy, and edge cases, then build against that specification with UAT on a staging database before go-live. Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope. Pricing starts from $999 (indicative, single-company base scope); additional languages, per-language custom romanization rulesets, multi-company or multi-website deployment, and bulk migration of existing slugs at volume increase the quoted scope. You receive a fixed quote after the scoping call — never a blind fixed price.
What you get

- Technical documentation (models, fields, routing hooks, redirect logic, security rules)
- End-user guide plus a live training session for your website editors
- UAT on staging with an agreed sign-off checklist and a documented rollback plan
- Post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration adjustments
- Git repository handover with full commit history and tagged release
- Redirect/migration map for any pre-existing slugs converted during rollout
Who this is for
Multilingual marketing lead
Runs an Odoo Website across several languages and needs readable, translated URL slugs that rank in each locale instead of numeric fallbacks. Cares about hreflang correctness, share previews, and not losing existing rankings when slugs change.
Odoo website administrator
Manages the site day to day and wants slug generation governed and automatic rather than hand-edited per page. Needs the redirect and uniqueness handling to be reliable across content edits and multi-website setups.
SEO / growth specialist
Owns organic performance and needs clean per-language canonical URLs, correct hreflang alternates, and a proper 301 migration path so link equity survives the transliteration rollout.
Technical project manager at an Odoo-running company
Coordinates the implementation and needs clear scope, UAT sign-off, a rollback plan, and a git handover so the capability is maintainable in-house after go-live.
How URL Transliterations for Website Pages Compares
| Criterion | ECOSIRE | Custom Build | Competitor | Odoo نیٹو |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Non-Latin URL handling | Governed transliteration + optional native-script slugs per language | Whatever you build; correctness depends on in-house expertise | Often a single generic romanization with limited overrides | Strips non-Latin characters, falls back to numeric/dash slugs |
| Per-language control | Rule set per `res.lang` with editor-facing overrides | Possible but must be designed and maintained by you | Usually global settings, little per-language nuance | None — one slugifier for all languages |
| Redirects on slug change | Automatic 301 via `website.rewrite` + migration map | Must be hand-built and tested | Varies; may not cover multi-language transitions | Manual redirect entries only |
| hreflang & sitemap | Alternates and sitemap emit the transliterated URLs | Your responsibility to wire correctly | Inconsistent hreflang coverage | Basic; not aware of transliterated slugs |
| Uniqueness & collisions | Per-language SQL constraint + suffix resolution | Depends on your implementation | Often global uniqueness, weaker per-language handling | Global slug uniqueness only |
| Ownership & support | Git handover, docs, training, support window, version forward-port | You own and maintain everything | Vendor-dependent; upgrades on their timeline | Covered by standard Odoo support only |
| Fit to your site | Built to your confirmed scope after a scoping call | Fully bespoke but slower and higher-risk to build | Generic; adapt your process to the app | No customization |
Frequently Asked Questions about URL Transliterations for Website Pages
How long does delivery take?
This is a build-to-order module, not an instant download. After a scoping call to confirm your languages, transliteration conventions, and redirect policy, typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope, including UAT on a staging database before go-live.
How does pricing and scoping work?
Pricing starts from $999 as an indicative single-company base-scope figure. The final number depends on the number of target languages, custom romanization rulesets, multi-company/multi-website needs, and any bulk migration of existing slugs. You receive a fixed quote after the scoping call — never a blind fixed price.
What about support and updates after go-live?
Every engagement includes a post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration tweaks. We hand over the git repository so your team can maintain it, and we can quote a separate support/upgrade retainer, including forward-porting the module to newer Odoo versions.
Will it work with my Odoo version and edition?
Yes. We build and test against Odoo 17.0, 18.0, and 19.0, on both Community and Enterprise. The transliteration engine and routing hooks do not depend on Enterprise-only features.
Will changing slugs hurt my existing search rankings?
No — that is precisely why the module registers 301 redirects via `website.rewrite` from every prior slug to its new transliterated form, and updates hreflang alternates and the sitemap. We also provide a redirect/migration map so link equity is preserved.
Can I keep native-script URLs for some languages and romanize others?
Yes. Transliteration is governed per language. You can keep readable native-script slugs where they serve your audience (or where the browser/CMS supports them cleanly) and apply romanization for others, all controlled from the settings view.
Can slugs be regenerated in bulk for an existing large site?
Yes. A bulk regeneration action is provided and can be driven through Odoo's XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API, so thousands of existing pages can be transliterated and redirected in a controlled, auditable pass during rollout.
