This is not an instant marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds the plugin against your live Tap account, installs it on your WordPress site, wires it into checkout and supports it afterward. You send us your Tap API keys (test and live) and your store details; we deliver a working gateway, configured and verified.
Under the hood it hooks into woocommerce_payment_gateways to appear on the wp-admin → WooCommerce → Settings → Payments screen, exposes its own settings panel via the WooCommerce Settings API, and processes orders through process_payment(). Both hosted (redirect) checkout and embedded (Tap card SDK) flows are supported, with a server-side webhook endpoint registered via the WooCommerce REST API / a custom rest_api_init route so charge status updates reconcile order state even if the shopper closes the browser.
The gateway is HPOS-compatible — it reads and writes order data through the OrdersTableDataStore abstraction rather than legacy post meta, so it works whether or not you've migrated to custom order tables. It declares feature compatibility via FeaturesUtil::declare_compatibility() so WooCommerce won't flag it as incompatible.
It handles multi-currency GCC scenarios (KWD, SAR, BHD, AED, USD), 3D Secure authentication, and full plus partial refunds issued straight from the WooCommerce order screen via process_refund(). We localize gateway-facing strings so they're translation-ready for WPML/Polylang and multisite. Logging routes to WooCommerce → Status → Logs for clean diagnostics.
